What parents won't do to make their kids happy.....
Iz and I went to the pet store on saturday to get crickets for our bearded dragon and dog food for foxy.
Yes, we have a lot of pets.
We walk in and my daughter goes crazy.....
BABY DUCKS!!!!!
I am a animal lover too and have to admit my heart went aaahhhh.
Later I kept thinking about them and found out that we could keep them a couple of months and then release them at a pond near by.
Ok, I could commit to a couple of months and what a fun experience it would be for the kids.
My older daughter and I ran and got them while my husband took the kids to the store.
We were going to hide them in the basement until Easter morning, but they were kind of loud.
So, we just gave in and they got them saturday night.
It has been fun.
If it was up to my daughter we would have many more animals. She begs me on a daily bases to go to the pet store and look at the animals.

You are such an awesome mom. My kids keep begging for pets and I keep saying "NO!" I'm not letting my kids see this post...they will be so jealous.

How FUN! This reminds me of the time we brought home two chickens and a quail. The quail died a said and untimely death. The chickens were both roosters. The backyard neighbors didn't like that much! It will be so fun to release them in the wild and then go visit them.
My kids have quit asking for pets...My "no" hasn't left much room for hope, I guess! :-) Those little duckies are SO CUTE!
