Monday night we ventured over to the live nativity in Alpine.
Boy, the line was long.
But we had good company.
We got to pet camels and donkeys.
And we then got to follow the star to Jesus.
We walked in this barn and there was Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus.
Wow, it was wonderful!
I wish I was better at describing the spirit that I felt while standing there.
My children just stopped at stared.
My little Ninja turned to me and gave me a big smile.
Softly outside you could hear people singing Christmas choirs.
I was so glad to be there and show my kids the true meaning of Christmas.
Everyone was quiet and showed such reverence.
It was very easy to forget that these people were just actors.
After we walked out,
everyone wanted to go back in and see it again.
We did and it was even better the second time.
I am very thankful for my Savior and all that he does for me.
Merry Christmas!

Wow! That sounds awesome. I've never heard about it. You need to tell me this stuff. I'm guessing it's only a one-time deal?
I love that it felt so special to you and your family. Thanks for sharing. I'm so sad I missed it...I was even watching for it. Merry Christmas to you too!
