How often do we lift our heads from the buffet of God’s blessings only to voice a complaint? We’re surrounded by mercies, enjoying more than we could have ever asked for or imagined, and we’re complaining because we’re stuck in traffic. Because we don’t own a house. Because our coworkers mistreat us. We’re saying that God hasn’t been good to us, that he’s not so kind after all. We’re telling a lie about God… What are you tempted to complain about? When you start getting that generally annoyed, ‘I’m about to complain’ feeling, take a step back, survey the blessings, and thank God for his generosity. – Stephen Altrogge

We have had a awesome summer. Not happy to see it end soon.
