Christmas Eve was a little scary this year. We drove to my mom's house which normally takes us close to an hour. But it was snowing a lot, the whole way. I was pretty much white knuckling it the whole time. We ended up having a wonderful time. I love my parents.
We had a great Christmas this year! Before Christmas I gave each of the kids a blank canvas and told them they could paint me whatever they wanted for Christmas. I have to say that I was so excited to see what they did and they were excited as well.

It wasn't my daughters choice to draw "Sitting Bull" but she had to do a project for school. So, she is still going to paint me something.

Those paintings are so good! Love that idea! I will have to remember that when my kids get a little older. My parents came to our house on Christmas Eve and took them forever! It was scary!
I'm jealous of all your great Christmas pics! I LOVE the one of you and Alex (she looks like a woman...beautiful!) and love the four kiddos by the tree. You guys are awesome!
